Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled QA Testing/SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests, as well as identifying and troubleshooting software defects to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.

• Collaborate with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.

• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify software defects and areas for improvement.

• Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by stakeholders, including customers and internal teams, and provide timely resolutions.

• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and testability.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations, to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in software testing and automation, and recommend process improvements and tool enhancements.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in QA testing and test automation, with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.

• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, for test automation scripting.

• Experience with version control systems, such as Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex software systems and identify potential issues.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

• Must be based in Mysore or willing to relocate.
