Job Description:
We are currently seeking a strategic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team in Mysore, Karnataka. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue generation through the development of strategic alliances and partnerships in the credit card segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize potential strategic alliances and partnerships in the credit card segment, including banks, financial institutions, merchants, and other key stakeholders.
Develop and execute strategic business development plans and initiatives to establish and expand partnerships that drive credit card acquisition, usage, and revenue generation.
Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts, including revenue-sharing arrangements, marketing collaborations, and co-branded credit card programs, to maximize value for all parties involved.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at partner organizations, including senior executives, business development teams, and marketing teams, to drive alignment and collaboration.
Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, sales, and operations, to support the implementation and execution of partnership initiatives and ensure seamless integration with existing processes and systems.
Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and partnership KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and optimize partnership performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities in the credit card segment, and recommend appropriate actions to maintain competitiveness and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Prepare and present regular reports, updates, and insights on partnership performance and business development activities to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA) is preferred.
Proven track record of successful business development experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on strategic alliances and partnerships, preferably in the credit card segment.
Strong understanding of credit card products, market dynamics, and customer behavior, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for driving business growth and revenue generation.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights to inform business decisions.
Self-motivated and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in MS Office suite and CRM software.
Must be based in Mysore or willing to relocate.
