Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insurance Operations Manager to join our team in Mysore, Karnataka. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our insurance division, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflows to streamline insurance operations and improve efficiency and productivity.

• Manage and oversee the processing of insurance applications, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

• Monitor and analyze key performance metrics and operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, sales, customer service, and IT, to optimize processes and systems to support insurance operations.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards governing insurance operations, including licensing, reporting, and data security.

• Provide leadership and guidance to the insurance operations team, including training, coaching, and performance management, to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers, brokers, and other external partners to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in insurance operations.

• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes affecting the insurance sector, and recommend appropriate actions to adapt to changes and maintain competitiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACII, CPCU) is preferred.

• Proven track record of successful experience in insurance operations management, with a deep understanding of insurance products, processes, and regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify actionable insights to improve operational performance.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

• Leadership qualities with a focus on team development, coaching, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of insurance operations.

• Proficiency in MS Office suite and insurance management software.

• Must be based in Mysore or willing to relocate.
